About Richard Brown:

Richard graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Business Administration from the no. 1 ranked public HBCU, according to US News & World Report, Florida A&M University. He previously worked with WFSU Public Media, covering the political and legal landscape in Florida during the Sunshine State's restless regular session. In addition to his work for WFSU, Richard has reported on the national educational landscape as an HBCU X Journalism Fellow with Open Campus Media. He has also contributed to the world-renowned financial news outlet Barron's as part of the "HBCU Media Collective," an intensive financial journalism cohort sponsored by Columbia Journalism School and Dow Jones. His writings have provided insightful analysis on a range of topics, from politics and law to education and finance.
